The end of lent here in Haiti is when the Lwa (spirits) who have been resting for the 40 days come back and reveal themselves. The sculture behind the man is Baron Samedi who is the head of all the spirits. I’m off to a gig/event tonight at the Oloffson hotel(which Graham Green is said to have based his book “The Comedians” on. I have already called in the other day and had a run sour with Ken(see previous post) so i shall enjoy them but treat them (and the Lwa) with respect. Honest i will. View high resolution
